Appy Drinks Review and Giveaway

Appy Drinks Review and Giveaway

The Appy family has joined forced with some of our kids favorite characters to make it easier and in my opinion a more fun way to give them what they want. They are a company that believes in making being healthier more affordable,Coming in 3 different  packs of 4 in a variety of 3 character designs and flavors All of their drinks have 50% less sugar and calories than regular fruit juices and are 100% natural-so no added colouring or preservatives.

I was recently lucky to get sent one of each of their drinks to test and review included was:

  1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-Apple & Blackcurrant fruit nectar drink
  2.  Peppa Pig- Apple & Summer Berries fruit nectar drink
  3. Spongebob Squarepants-Orange fruit nectar drink
My kids faces when they saw these new drinks was a picture i must say, this is a rare treat for them especially for my 7 year old and 13 year old as both get really hyperactive with a lot of fruit juices and squashes and as a result they normally only get water or milk/milkshakes in their packed lunches or at home. After trying all the juices the biggest hit for my children and ourselves was the Spongebob Squarepants orange flavor so refreshing and full of flavor. as for design wise my daughter loved the Peppa Pig while my son loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles one, neither was overly keen on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-Apple & Blackcurrant fruit flavor sadly i myself actually quite liked this one as it was really fruity. All drinks were enjoyed by everyone the only thing i wished was that the boxes themselves had a best before date on them they have it on the drinks themselves but when i buy products from the store i like to check the dates before buying so its a bit of a nightmare to have to open the packaging to look inside to find out-a small thing but something i personally like to see. We will certainly be buying these drinks again they are perfect for packed lunches or if going on picnics-combined with water and milk they make a lovely and very tasty change in the daily routine.

You can purchase the Appy drinks from Tesco,Whole Foods Market Stores nationwide as well as online at

And now for your chance to win!
Appy Drinkshave very kindly offered 5 winners the chance to win one 4-pack of their juices each featuring either Spongebob Squarepants,Peppa Pig or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Fishtail Plait

So simple to do and yet something different, just part the hair into two sections then grab a small piece of hair from one side and move it over to the other side(like you would with a plait) then do the same to the other side, keep alternating sides until you finish, remember to hold it tight so you don't end up with big gaps in the hair-also the smaller the pieces of hair the better it will look however the longer it will take too.

Meat Lust Flava-It

We was lucky enough to get a free sample of Flava-It from Meat Lust in the post we have never had it before so was interested to see if we would like it.

Meat Lust

That amazing moment when a seriously succulent and joyously tender mouthful of meat hits your taste buds. That's what Flava-It marinades do.and they do it good, fantastic with all kinds of meat whether it be,chicken, beef, pork or lamb. why not Unleash your meat lust with the great taste of Flava-It today!

That's exactly what we did we i cover it over pieces of skinless/boneless chicken and served it up with potatoes and mixed vegetables. even before it was cooked my mouth was watering while waiting the 10 minutes for the chicken to rest in the marinade(it smelt like paprika! mmmm) after 10 minutes pop in the oven and cook like normal, and oh my god does it taste good! i really hope meat lust introduce some easy to follow recipes that i could try out, also i'm gutted that Morrison is my nearest stockist as it's too far afield when you don't drive so it may be a while before i can eat it again...all i can say is it will be worth the wait!
