yoomi review

The lovely people over at Yoomi have sent me to test and review one of their fantastic Yoomi self-warming baby bottle.

Contents included are:

  1. 8oz Feeding bottle
  2. Warmer
  3. Medium flow teat.

A bit more about the Yoomi bottle and warmer:

At  just the touch of a button,Yoomi warms your baby's milk to natural breast milk temperature in just 60 seconds.

you can use with or without the warmer.
It is all you will find you will need whether out or at home.
It has a super soft teat to help with easy latching on
Lets your baby feed at normal breastfeeding temperature
Its is great for use with combination feeding or follow on feeding.
The warmer recharges x 100 times.

It was inspired by a mum, designed by a dad.

My thoughts on the Yoomi self-warming bottle:

When i got the chance to review this miracle product i was really excited i couldnt wait to try it out, like many other parents i get frustrated when stuck out somewhere with nowhere to heat up my little mans bottle you tend to have to rush home to feed them or buy a ready made milk carton which to be honest my son's not too keen on as he likes his milk warm.
But then along cam the Yoomi self-warming bottle which solved all of my problems.
All i need to do is firly push the orange bottle, wait 30 seconds until button turns blue put the lid on and turn bottle upside down so the milk fills the teat, then i just feed my son while ensuring the teat remains full.

I was happy as it done exactly as it says it does as it heats the milk as it goes past the warmer and into the teat. The bottle has also been cleverly designed to help keep the milk warm by up to an hour...result:

1 happy baby and 1 very happy mum! :)

The only thing i will warn you of is.....  Preparation is the key!

You need to warm the warmer for 25 minutes in constant boiling water then allow to cool for about 70 minutes before using so it is time consuming to prepare no good if you are in a hurry.however it is fantastic if you know in advance such as the day before you are going out as you can get it ready in advance then you just grab and go on the day.

I personally love the Yoomi and plan to use it on every day out(will just need to make a mental note each time to heat the warmer)
and i will continue to tell mummy friends about it.

I was sent to test and review the Two handled tainer cup in blue from their stage 2 range for my 7 1/2 month old to try.

soft spouts for baby's gums
easy grip handles
spout cover
bpa free
pvc free
latex free
you choose non-spill or free flow

What we thought:

After separating the bits and washing and sterilizing i gave my son some very diluted squash in his cup with his dinner, his first reaction was to pull a face as it went into his mouth and to be honest he seemed to chew on it with his gums at first, clearly this was to test the completely new texture out as hes only ever had teats upto now.

After a few minutes he started sucking he did however keep whinging so i took the valve out and tried again, this time he was perfectly fine clearly he was just being too impatient. He seemed to really like drinking from it and even started holding onto the handles and using it himself.after finishing he seemed to like rubbing his gums on the spout....having soft spouts are obviously a very good idea for teething baby's.

It was a good size just right for his age and the amount he would generally drink.
The only thing i didnt like was the spout cover as it came off too easily in my oppinion not great if traveling as you would have juice spill into the changing bag,its ok while using the valve but my son obviously will only drink with it off  just think one that attached a bit more securely would of been better.

  • body paint(blue) 150ml  £2.49
If you struggle like myself with bathtimes then you really should try out crazy soap fantastic bathtime range.

Here's what me and my 2 youngest children aged 2 and 4 thought:
Their products have been designed to be kind to the skin which is great for young children and exactly what every parent wants and looks for.

Bath goo,my son didnt want this added while the bath was running instead he grabbed it out of my hand and shoved his hand in quickly grabbing over half of the pot out, needless to say he had loads of bubbles that he managed to lather out of
I for one also loved the gorgous fruity smell that it contains :)

Bath foam my son loves this he wont use the blue one in the bath he dont want his hands to go that colour(his older sisters fault no doubt as when he was about to use it they said oooh ethan you are going to turn into a smurf!!

Bath paint, whoever thought u could get messy, create works of art on your body and clean yourself in the process!!
both of my kids loved this starting off with smiley faces which soon turned into a gooey drawn mess before rinsing spotlessly clean :).

We totally love this product and will keep using when we finally run out lol.
